Subscription Terms

1. Seller and Developer

Apple acts as the App Store payment processor and merchant for in-app purchases where Apple terms provide that role. Riveryn never receives your card number.

2. What Premium Opens

Riveryn Premium opens everything that uses AI:

• logging by typing, voice or photo, with meal estimates;
• Riveryn's answers to the questions you type;
• the notes Riveryn writes about your day, your week and each part of your day: what your own days show.

Some things keep working without Premium after a trial or subscription ends. Your fire, one-tap logging, Apple Health counting and reminders keep going. So do your band, everything you logged, export and delete.

Features may change as Riveryn improves, within the law and App Store rules.

3. Plans and Prices

Riveryn Premium is an auto-renewing subscription with two plans:

• Yearly: renews every year. $39.99 a year in the US App Store, about $3.33 a month.
• Monthly: renews every month. $9.99 a month in the US App Store.

Apple shows the price in your currency before you confirm. The price in Apple's purchase sheet is the one that applies.

4. The 7-Day Free Trial

• Both plans start with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Apple decides eligibility, per Apple ID.
• You start it through Apple's purchase sheet, which shows the plan, the price after the trial and how to cancel before you confirm. Nothing is due on the day you start.
• Riveryn reminds you two days before the trial ends, with a notification if you allow notifications. The end date always shows in You › Your plan.
• If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and renews at the plan's price, for example $39.99 a year or $9.99 a month in the US.
• If you've already had a free trial, the plans screen shows the price as charged today.
• When Riveryn shows the plans screen after onboarding, you continue by starting the trial, subscribing, restoring a purchase, or using an access code.

5. When a Trial or Subscription Ends

The AI features stop: logging by typing, voice or photo, answers to your questions, and the notes Riveryn writes. You can still open Riveryn, tap to log, see your fire, count steps with Apple Health, get reminders, read everything you logged, and export or delete it. Subscribe again any time to turn the AI back on.

6. Billing and Renewal

• Payment is charged to the Apple ID used for the purchase after you confirm through Apple.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Apple may charge for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Deleting Riveryn data, deleting a backup, or deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

7. Cancellation

Apple manages subscriptions. Cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings, at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions or in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. In Riveryn, You › Legal and support › Manage Apple subscription opens that same Apple page.

Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Apple does not usually refund part of a period, unless Apple's rules or the law say otherwise.

8. Refunds

Apple handles refunds. We can't issue App Store refunds or change Apple's decisions. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

9. Restore Purchases

Restore is on the plans screen after onboarding and in You › Your plan › Restore purchases. It asks Apple which purchases belong to the Apple ID on this iPhone. It never makes a new purchase. If you bought the one-time Founding Year in an earlier version, Restore still unlocks it until that year ends.

10. Free Access Outside the App Store

Some installs get free access from Riveryn itself instead of an Apple trial. That includes installs that started before Riveryn 2.0 under our earlier free-access model, times when the App Store can't be reached, and other cases where we choose to give free access.

We also hand out access codes. A code adds free days, up to 60 in total per install. Redeem one in You › Your plan › Redeem a code, or on the plans screen.

This free access never opens an Apple payment sheet, never creates a subscription and never bills. When it ends, nothing is charged unless you choose a subscription through Apple.

11. Price Changes

If prices change, Apple gives the notice, consent and cancellation steps your App Store country requires. If you don't agree to a required price increase, Apple may end the subscription at the end of the current period.

12. Family Sharing

Whether a Riveryn subscription can be shared with Family Sharing is shown in the App Store purchase sheet and subscription details. Those control.

13. No Guaranteed Outcome

Premium does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, better sleep, more energy, improved health, calorie accuracy, or any medical or wellness outcome. Estimates stay approximate and you can correct them.
